Back to work.
ive been back to work for the last week now. It’s been mostly Council/vulnerable people moves. I’ve also been doing a few house moves where owners could wait no longer to have keys returned.
I’m not doing single item moves apart from essential items.
takings are down 75% so hopefully government comes through on self employed help.

We will be running a limited service for house moves where contracts have finished and moves cannot be delayed. This covers the Croydon area and other London boroughs.

this two hour move from Croydon to big yellow by Twickenham station took two hours to complete. One man large van @ £40 per hour. Total price £80. While I was at the Big Yellow I got chatting to another removal company. They were quite a bit more expensive than me.

For a man and van there’s nothing nicer than a customer with lots of helpers. This move from Croydon to Sutton today took under two hours. One man and van £40ph. Total price £80. It’s now back to Croydon for the next move.

If you need a second person we charge an extra £15 per hour. I’m lucky enough to have several helpers with a bit of experience behind them now. Definitely worth the extra money as we often finish quicker.
